chicago :In the early 70s, one of my task as a little kid was to clean my dad’s Rolex Replica every Friday. Very naturally, I learned to appreciate the beauty of the watch. When I finished Graduate School, I thought my dad will give me that watch as a gift but he did not. A few years later, I bought a Rolex Replica GMT II for myself and on the same week my dad passed away. My mom gave me my dad’s watch as heirloom gift. Since then, Rolex watches have a special place in my heart.
vitaccop:Back in 1993 I had a friend who had a Rolex Replica Sea Dweller and I found myself really liking it. For the next nine years I tried to ignore the desire to buy a Rolex Replica, telling myself that I didn’t need a $4500 watch. Well, one day in 2003 I stopped by a dealer and looked at a Sub Date. I went home and told my wife about how I’ve always wanted a Rolex Replica and she made me go back and buy it. I got in my car and went back to the dealer (I’m no idiot). The next year I gave her a mid-sized Yachtmaster for her birthday. Not to be outdone she promptly bought me a SS GMT Master II for my next birthday. That’s my story.
tomahawk :Mine is really very simple: I’ve been a watch nut ever since I can remember. As a kid, whenever I had the chance, I would always wear my dad’s Rolex Replica, out of my fascination with these mechanical marvels, and since I did not have a watch of my own yet.
In those times, watches were all still mechanical, and most people owned only 1 watch at a time, and watches then were not quite yet the commodity that they seem to be nowadays.
I finally got my first watch, a Citizen Auto, as a 13th birthday gift from my my parents. I still have this watch with me up to now, working and still keeping good time.
With the explosion of the digital / quartz / disposable / cheap watches, it was not until I was in my 20’s when Rolex Replica reawakened my passion for the mechanical wonders. Seeing page after page of Rolex advertisement for the ExpII and how it conquered Mt. Everest just bore a hole into my psyche which I could not shake. So I decided to get one, but back in the mid-90’s, for purely greedy reason(s), every AD in Asia just did not have the EXP II in stock. I guess they were hoarding it what with rumors flying around that it will soon be discontinued. But I was determined to have my Rolex, so I got the next Rolex that smiled at me: the 16610 aka Sub Date.
Since then, my dad has passed on to me his 6694, and I purchased my latest Rolex Replica: the 116520. Ironically, I’ve never looked back to purchasing the ExpII, the first Rolex Replica that caught my eye.
